VERY IMPORTANT: This teapot cannot be used over direct heat from a stove top range. This is due the the way the stove heats the ceramic- when heated only from one side (the bottom) , then it starts to expand where the heat comes. The uneven heat applied to the ceramic vessel e.g bottom being hot and the top staying cold as it’s not heated will cause rupture and break the Teapot.
